Alban Vendeuvre

Alban is a Vice President at Cathay Innovation, based in Paris, where he steers investments in Web3 through the Cathay Ledger fund. He combines a background in private equity, corporate strategy, and crypto entrepreneurship to back disruptive decentralized teams.

Previously, Alban worked in private equity at Parquest Capital and then led Strategy & Innovation at Groupe Casino, launching ventures in charging stations, data centers, and AI while guiding major transformation initiatives. He later co-founded a euro‑pegged stablecoin issuer, gaining direct operational insight into the inner workings of the crypto ecosystem.

At Cathay Innovation, Alban partners with founders pushing the boundaries of decentralized finance and tokenized infrastructure — think Flowdesk, a Cathay-backed company building advanced trading infrastructure for Web3 market-makers. He holds degrees from HEC Paris and École Polytechnique.
Off-duty, Alban stays active with sports, wanders around Morocco, and keeps a curious eye on emerging technological shifts, which often feed back into his work.
