Ana Rocha

Ana is an Associate at Cathay Latam, based in Mexico City, where she focuses on identifying and supporting standout founders across the region. She joined in 2024, bringing strategic insight and hands-on experience helping high-potential startups scale and generate meaningful impact. A notable portfolio company includes Akua, where she supported the team in driving growth and market expansion.

Previously, Ana worked at McKinsey & Company across consumer, operations, and infrastructure practices, and served as a consultant for the World Bank Group and UNDP on investment and development projects. She was also part of the founding team of CEDH, a leading Argentine think tank.

Dedicated to advancing transformative businesses in Latin America, Ana guides entrepreneurs through growth while contributing to a stronger innovation ecosystem. She holds a BA in Economics from Universidad Torcuato di Tella, an MA in Economics from Universidad de San Andrés, and an MPA/ID from Harvard University, where she was a Kennedy Fellow.

In her free time, Ana can be found on the slopes, discovering local food spots, or getting lost in new corners of the region.
