Costanza Carissimo

Costanza leads Cathay Innovation’s Berlin office, focusing on early-growth investments across DACH. Her portfolio includes Nelly, Resilience.care, Medwing, Xepelin, FirstVet, and others.

Before joining Cathay in San Francisco in 2017, she was at Cherry Ventures, an early-stage VC fund based in Berlin. Prior to venture capital, she was a lab researcher in low-energy astroparticle physics at the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Munich.

She holds a master’s degree in Physics from Imperial College London.
