Paul Pouyanne

Paul is a Vice President at Cathay Innovation in Paris, focusing on frontier technologies particularly in digital health. He has been instrumental in sourcing and leading investments including Nabla, Bioptimus, Entalpic, and Inato, helping them grow from innovative ideas into impactful market players.

Paul joined Cathay Innovation after gaining experience at Air Liquide Healthcare as a strategic consultant and through internships that provided exposure to high-impact technology and innovation projects. Earlier in his career, Paul worked on finance and strategy in the industrial and healthcare sectors.

He holds a master’s degree from the International Centre for Fundamental Physics (ICFP) and an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs, after graduating from École Normale Supérieure.

Paul channels his competitive spirit on the rugby field and brings the same curiosity and drive to his personal projects.
