Rose Yuan

Rose is an Investment Director at Cathay Innovation, based in San Francisco, where she leads investments in enterprise AI applications that transform how companies operate. She joined the firm in 2025, bringing deep expertise in B2B software and growth-stage investing.

Previously, Rose was an Investment Director at Generation Investment Management and a Vice President at CapitalG, focusing on early- and growth-stage B2B investments. She also held roles in finance, business operations, and strategy at Gusto, and began her career in investment banking at J.P. Morgan. She is drawn to solutions that make enterprise processes smarter, more efficient, and human-centered.

Rose holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and is fluent in English and Mandarin. Outside of work, she can often be found on the tennis court, refining her golf swing, strategizing over a board game, or exploring new destinations with her young family.
